Public server improvement thread

I remember a while back with old management a thread about the public server was put up and we was to add what we'd like to see added, changed, remove, etc to the public server.
Not sure whatever happened to it but far as I recall the whole thread died with no out come.

I'd like to revive that said thread here and get an updated opinion from others on the public server, especially now due to the amount of updates since then.

One of the suggestion I made previously was the implementation of "Strongholds"
 Certain town(s) on the map would be alot my highly defended or just garrisoned by more unit which IF the area was cleared of ALL enemy contacts there would be a GREATER(Not 100% chance) of finding a cache, and also better(More accurate or multiple intel) on locations of caches, I.E.D's, AA, etc.

Capturing one of these towns could also improving regional trust and drastically lower enemy moral/units for a period of time.

I'm really interested in what Recruits will add to this thread with the majority of them still being extremely new and green the unit, community, us people, and the way we conduct ourselves.

This is in a similar vein to a suggestion I had on old TWC was for Training camp FOBS to spawn out in the Ulu and would need multiple section level co-operation to destroy.

I don't know if this counts as a bug or suggestion but I feel that the vehicles in domi cherno respawn far too quick (may even be instantly), it just feels a bit gamey as there is no consequence to wrecking your chopper into the ground as you can just hop back into a new one. Also makes the repair pad sort of useless as your damaged chopper will respawn once you are out of it for a minute. I think the vehicle respawn time of old used to be around 10-15 mins.

Can you explain how you want these "strongholds" to work a bit more? Are they marked on the map on mission start and should there be civis or just a boatload of enemy and maybe even statics + vehicle area? Also I was thinking to just put three of them? Should I set them up like flashpoint where if the blufor attack fails they reinforce themselves?

For Twiggy: I have increased the respawn on all armed vehicles.

The issue is that if the strongholds don't spawn on map start they will not be able to have the cache in them

So when the FOB is cleared, will it dc?
If so why not make it accessible for all players, when all enemy combatants is killed?

I would like to see more difference in unit origins, so it looks more like a NATO incentive to clear out Takistan.
Don't know if it's possible, but I'd like to see.

To add onto preacher, is there any chance we can bring back the delta squad of old, not necessarilly the same factions, Czechs? Takistani's? Swedes?

Maybe add the dutch commandos as a small recon section?
Make their mission to get as much intel as possible and avoid combat as much as possible or something?

Are "commandos" regular ? They're not. We always played as regulars on the public. Regular Dutch army would be something else.

Also, make sure there are mods for a unit before suggesting it. Linking them would be nice.
