[suggestion] jackals + humvv's

hey guy's so i have a request for the public server ....

1. can we please change out the jackals to the 1's we used previous , as the current 1's are like driving on a trampolene , alot of players have experienced this and being in a gunnner or a driver seat is terrible it just bounces everywhere and visually for others looks really silly.... speed is not an issue as turning a basic flat corner at 30/40/50mph NOT sharply will cause u to flip ( or at least nearly ) and or start a chain reaction of bouncing ...the only time it does not bounce is when driving at 20mph...

i do have footage of this if people would like me to upload from a gunners perspective and a drivers , although the simple request should suffice

im sure players also know the reality and ability of a jackal 2 ?...

2. now the humv's are the same BUT not as bad u can drive them a bit faster with no trampolene effect's BUT it does happen around 70mph ( the veichle can do 120mph in arma ) i have seen this is a problem for new players as 9 / 10 if they die , return to base and try to re group with us they would flip this veicle on route ... where as previously players wouldnt have this issue ... but like i have said it is NOT as bad as the jackal...

NOTE : i do have a kind of extra request and that is if the awnser was no i would request replacing the jackal's for foxhounds,mrap's or summin.

im aware of some of the bugs but a jackals main usage/features is for it to be a reconassiance vehicle for o.p's n stuff so i would ask remove them from insurgencey (because of how we play it) , keep them in domination (obv not the bouncy 1's lol) and replace them with somthing else more suitable for insurgencey... there is alot of mods that supply vehicle's and different versions so i let you guys debate what we could use ....

i start by sayin maybe a veicle from these ? (im aware it may mean adding a new mod )

A proper MRAP for insurgency wpuld be nice, and the americans can just use the stock Arma one as that is theor current vehicle

We are not switching to the jackals we had before. They were also buggy (i. e. 0 recoil on the gun) and require an additional 800mb mod. Generally, if you suggest any changes, think if they could be done with the current mods. We will be thinking about a problem 10x before even considering to add any more mods to the public server.

+ If the mod isn't on the steam workshop, the chance of adding it is practically 0.

the bugs with the previous 1's was more than acceptable than the current issues.....the current 1's are silly mate not only are they terrible for the players inside them it's terrible for people to be watching ...this is not something we should be doing exp when there IS other options...

but like i said if the awnser was NO ...we shouldnt be using them anyway in that gamemode, hence the request to remove / change them...

as i do appricheate your opinion alkalai but saying "we are not switching to the jackals we had before. " i will not accept because you are NOT management or in a position to say that....you are a member like the rest of us....

and no one cares about the addition of mods JESUS not this shit again .....alkalai YOU alone in the last month have made us change from 3 different sound mods resulting in the downloading of gb's to the repo ....to be a literal waste...

as for the rest of you guys thanks very much for the input much appricheated i guess we just see what happens....and its glad to know im not the only 1

Alkali has been working hard to get the public server ready for when you can download mods from the Steam Workshop. The old Jackals are in a mod that will not be on the Steam Workshop so we removed it. Also since this is very much Alkali's territory he can respond to you.

The guy who makes JSRS3 keeps dropping his mod and making a new one. Blaming Alkali for this is you being ignorant. You may either not download the mod or voice your complaints here:

Also in this case it isn't about reducing mods but making all mods be on the Steam Workshop.

I was using 2 Jackals right now in game and can confirm that they ARE NOT bouncing anymore. The only issue with them is that they have only 1 box of ammo ie 100 HMG rounds and 48 (or so) GMG.

and jayman im not being ignorant nor blaming alkalai...i heard it first from him about the addition of the sound mods and other updates n stuff recently when they've been put on, so sayin no in that way, to a request because of a way smaller mod was just silly really to me.....exp being a member...but cool dont worry

i wasnt aware of the whole steamworkshop thing so what the situation with that ? all mods requested must be on there too in future ? ..

Any mod being added to the public server will need to be on the steam workshop. This does not apply to operations

will be getting removed as we will have to remove the 3cb mods from the public to make the most out of the new steam mod system, this is because the 3cb are not on steam workshop.
