The medical system as it is now is not very good.
The goal was to make it more simple for new players to understand it but the lack of the ability to go unconscious or the rare amount of times it happens makes the game more or less unplayable.
What basically happens is that every time you move into an AO, you get shot by some bushwookie russian who is shooting through the trees, this instantly kills one, two or even three players, this just basically killed a big part of your squad and makes it very difficult to handle these types of situations as a lot of people die and a lot of people get deterred to get back into the AO. Sure the old system was less realistic, but so is a sole russian killing your entire squad from behind a bush which you cannot see.

So my suggestion is to either move back to our old system, which was a very capable system and a lot more satisfying, or find a new system which can replicate this ability.

The current and old system are very similar system as ACE 3,which is the amalgamation of AGM(the old system) and CSE. On the public server it uses the basic medical system ( AGM) , same as before just with a new interface.

I have been knocked unconscious at least 3 times today and i know sajuuk was once. there really is no difference than before just that from what i saw today we have been playing alot more up close and personal so we are not taking hits from rounds that have lost most of their velocity meaning more likely to kill.

My understanding was the ACE3 medical system is same as previous AGM one with a new user interface. A couple things I have noticed from using it in operations/training I would be grateful if anybody with a bit more experience with it can confirm:
1) You remain unconscious a lot longer. Not a bad thing, makes the medic more useful.
2) When a patient is dead, if you do not diagnose, they appear to have light (yellow) torso damage. You can then bandage said damage and then after doing so, every item shows as heavy (red) damage indicating they are dead. This is slightly different to AGM where it is clear they are dead since the only option you have is to diagnose meaning diagnosis is pointless at this point. I certainly prefer the ACE 3 system since it does not give you a diagnosis from the greyed out user interface which I feel is slightly more immersion breaking. Maybe something for people to keep in mind so bandages don't get wasted (in before 30 bandage master race ).

Again, very limited experience with the system so the above may be incorrect but happy to be corrected.

that's odd, I haven't gone unconscious a single time whilst dying like 4 times.
Every single death was of random fire from over 400 meters and every single death was a one shot kill, did not ever get injured just insta death.

hhmmmmm

1. i havnt noticed a difference , and i think from what i have seen the time is the same , what i have noticed is that when u do pass out your screen blinks/pulses white now

2.the way i tell if a man is dead is that he wont be holding his weapon , he will be all folded up like a killed enemy , it is quite easy to tell if a man is alive or not without diagonsing them you can just tell the difference i find.

this could be a bug?-maybe have to wait for a ace 3 update? but yea this does happen

edit : yesterday i went unconcious 2 times but the enemy kept shooting at me so i died along with my comrades

The torso damage thing is literally showing where they were injured still, because dead or not the bullet wounds are still going to be there.

Bringing back a bit of an old thread here but after some more experience, I believe you do die a lot easier under the ACE3 medical system, which is contrary to the impression I was originally under in that it was a UI change only. This however seems to work both ways in that the AI also die a lot easier now too. This is quite anecdotal from my part, as I do not have any facts/figures on this but I am pretty convinced at this point.

Not suggesting anything needs changing but thought I would share my findings.

I'll agree with you Cal that the AI die a lot easier. Before it seemed like at range it could take 6 or 7 rounds, but now it is 2 or 3. However, I have not noticed that I am dying any more than usual.

It just depends on where you get hit, and remember that the torso is the biggest target of the whole body. The torso also holds the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, spine, diaphragm, veins/arteries. Any ONE of these getting hit by a bullet can kill a person within minutes/seconds. However, I haven't been shot enough to know for sure(in the game of course ) so I'm not the best judge of how ACE handles this.

There is no issue here we will not be removing ACE medical from the public server.
