I absolutly disagree with this. I know (and I've said it before) many people regard Delta as a joke squad, that's just there to provide entertainment for other squads à la 'Oh them Deltas got rekt by a Tank again becuase their AT is shit, never gets old!'. Delta is trying to provide a second-to-third World Army. Their equipment is old but usuable and battle-tested. For example the absence of scopes: Sure it's rather different from 'normal' gameplay but in the end you usually overcome the enemy even in long-range engagements. To be honest I almost enjoy iron-sights more than scopes because it forces you to close in to the enemy instead of the rather passive semi-sniping you usually do. 'Unprofessional guesstimating' should never ever happen on a server that calls itself 'realistic'. That would be like flying certain helicopters into battle that don't actually get used in that role.
My issue with not having a scope isn't so much with the fact that the RPG lacks magnification but with the fact that aiming the (current) RPG without a scope is basically just praying that it hits. As far as I know noone really knows what the current sight is zeroed to or for which warhead the zeroeing applies. This means that if you use the RPG all you can do is run as close to your target as possible in the hopes that the projectile will fly as straight as possible. By close I don't mean around hundred meters which would be more or less reasonable but way closer JUST for the possibility to make your round hit. This limits the RPG to close Range engagements of less than 50 meters for most AT warheads and even less for the thermobaric warhead (which, as of now, would propably require you to stay in the blast radius to make an accurate shot).
This isn't a matter of 'overpowering' Delta but a matter of actually giving them AT capabilities beyond 'Run up to the tank until you see the white in the gunners eyes'. I heard the Marines Carl Gustav has the same issue and considering the slightly lackluster quality of the American RHS mod I can believe this, the weapon is near useless without a proper scope because it lacks the ability to zero properly. Because of this I've seen Charlies equiping themselfs only with AT4s instead of Carl Gustavs which had an absolutly amazing track-record in the Arma 2 days.
