A new public game mode has been added to the public server!

TWC Frontlines is essentially a rewrite of KP liberations with more features and better server performance. When beginning a new play through, you are spawned at a random location on the map at a newly established FOB (one building) and many enemy held objectives to capture. While the base starts as one building, you can/will build it up with radars, special buildings and walls/defences if you want.

You operate on three types of currency; Supplies, Fuel and Ammo. As you capture objectives, there may be one of these types of supplies lying around that you can load on the back of a truck and take back to the FOB. There are factories that you can capture which will produce resources, then you can either pick them up yourself or send a ‘convoy’ who will bring the supplies. Different things to buy include; base building materials, ammo, heavy weapons, medical supplies, vehicles, etc.

Any command role can buy stuff and manage factories and supplies at the FOB using their ace menu.

Because you are essentially ‘Liberating’ the country, you can work alongside insurgent forces who you can ask to assist you in attacking an objective or various other tasks. You need a certain level of reputation with the civilian population to get this. Killing civilians and destroying buildings lose you reputation. If it gets low enough, the insurgents may turn on you.

Similar to civilian reputation, enemy threat will increase through your actions and affects difficulty. If it’s high enough, they may attack your base. They will also conduct attacks on areas held by you and retake objectives if you don’t react. Threat can be reduced by doing side objectives.

There are also various secondary objectives that you can choose from which give you various kinds of supplies and perks depending on which ones you do. You could literally join and just do logistics if you wanted.

Furthermore, progress is consistent and will remain through any amount of server restarts unless reset by an admin. There are many more features that will become apparent once you play.

Currently, you can use the Arsenal at the base to get more ammo, med supplies etc although I would like to phase this out and only use ammo boxes which cost supplies for re supply, happy to take opinions on this- just give me a message or reply to this post.

At present, we have 2014 British Forces on Altis, I do plan on making another map and faction once bugs and configs are worked out. I will put out a vote when the time comes.

Known issue at the moment is the ‘give medical aid’ secondary objective doesn’t work for us as it is set up for new ACE medical.

Fixed:
-Capturing enemy personnel at the FOB now works and gives Intel, this is one of the best ways of gaining intel so try and capture as many enemies as you can.

Known Issues:
-‘Provide medical aid’ secondary objective doesn’t work for us as it is set up for new ACE medical. I have put what I think is a fix to this in the github, just needs approved.
- Frontlines inbuilt full heal system at the medical building doesn't work, I have manually in zeus set the building to be a medical building now but can't test this alone. Should allow PAKs to be done.
- I have made TWC specific ammo boxes but they haven't been put in the repo yet.

Note: the FOB side mission we did last night did work, I just didn't understand how to complete it. You need to ACE interact on a laptop and destroy the Huron crates to complete.

- Free Respawn Helicopter, everyone seemed to crash it. Replaced with Ambulance for now.

Added:
- Night Vision in the arsenal,
- Stingers in the arsenal, no StarStreak available,
- Glock 17 to the Arsenal,
- Rolled up uniform sleeves to the arsenal,

Changed
- Most basic base building supplies are now free,
- Increased ratio of Blufor to Opfor to capture a sector, need to kill/ force surrender more to complete.

Added:
- Added an Engineer Team, not really sure what they do but they are configged in frontlines. I assume fix vehicles.

Changed
- Non armoured vehicles (Trucks, UAZs and GAZ's) are now crewed by MSV Russians (Same as the Infantry), APCs and Tanks are still default old timey Russian Crewmen. May change at least APC crews to MSV but I don't get a say on which units crew them. i.e. they could spawn crewed by three machine gunners.
- Increased squad size of the Russians from 8 to 12, should increase the difficulty. Could be increased again to 16 but I'm mindful of the performance hit this may induce.

Fixed
- Thanks to Aleyboy, the medical buildings that we can build in the FOB now work fully, they increase your medical ability and should allow PAKs to be done.
- The Provide Medical Aid now works, it spawns civilians with random injuries that you need to go and heal. There is also a 75% chance that there will be injured civvies after you take a town, these are marked on the map by red circles inside the town.

Known issues:
- I have made TWC specific ammo boxes but they haven't been put in the repo yet.

- Took stuff not used by TWC out of arsenal, Blood, Splints, Surgical kit, etc
- Added suture kit to arsenal
- Finally fixed the medical buildings to allow paking etc.
- Supply bases now spawn Russian Vehicles rather than CSAT
