Actual behaviour: Helos get no left or right panels and are vurnerable to any form of missiles.

was mistaken, that damn 1%. I really hope 3cb switch over to pylons soon cos the CUP ones let you do the classic cannon and laser designated missiles combo from days of old and is a little more in line with the real life plans

The CUP ones should work, but I'm unsure about 3CB. If they use the default HUD elements, and haven't defined their own, they won't work. I should be able to write an override for this sometime next week.

Mc jazza the 3cb ones have been ablr to do that for well over a year. There is a 3cb helo ammo box that leta you customise loadout inc guided rockets

Don't worry, I know about that one.
I was talking about the new vanilla 'pylon' system and realism which 3cb don't currently subscribe to, not the 3cb servicing modules.
The only difference being back then they didn't allow you to switch from dumbfire to laser guided from each separate class, and also a guided missile isn't really gonna fit in the same tube as a dumbfire rocket, not the ones currently in service at least.
