While nato forces have been busy in the gulf war Russia took this chance to seize several islands under the guise of protecting a Russian minority. By airdropping mechanized units they seized the entire island chain of Abramia in a day.

Yesterday, air assault troops secured the small airfield direct east of the main island. From here we can stage an attack onto the other small islands.
