Map: Isla Duala

Conflict Overview
The island of Duala lies 200 kilometers east of the islands of Zanzibar and was made the  German protectorate of Dualaland in 1894, when the tribes of Duala were defeated in the Dualan-German War. With the Treaty of Versailles Duala was handed over to the British as the Protectorate of Duala, gained it's nominal independence in 1967 as the Kingdom of Duala under close British supervision, due to it's strategic location and natural ressources, including large deposits of rare earth metals. While there have been seperatists and nationalist movements against the royal Amani Dynasty, who are regarded as a British puppet, notably with the Amanraa-Tribe uprising in 1982 and the continued resistance of the fundamentalist-christian-nationalist rebells Sacred Duala Defense League (SDDL) under the leadership of Edward Siwazuri, who did fled the country after british intervention in 1991.
The King of Duala Joseph I. was found dead 2 days ago. As the first (and so far only) king of a unified Duala, his presence seemed to hold the country together during the past 30 years. His heir, James, studied in Oxford and is expected to be crowned the next King of Duala. UK Secretary of State Charles Johnson is preparing to attend the funeral and James' coronation to show the continued British support for the monarchy and the far reaching mining rights for British companies granted by them.

Conflict Overview
During the turbulent times shortly after the death of Joseph I., Edward Siwazuri has returned to the country from exile and gathered his supporters around him once again. He has  declared to instate a christian-fundamentalist government, executing the "English Demons" and has been linked a number of Russian oligarchs  whom he promised mining rights.Recent Events
It seems that Siwazuri has started his uprising: We have lost contact to the palne carrying the diplomatic envoy surrounding Secretary Johnson as well as the British Army Camp Noobia where the new James I. was held after riots in the capital city
Connection has been lost to Camp Noobia, UK FOB which James Amani was visiting.
