Conflict Overview:
Following the outbreak of hostilities between NATO and the Warsaw Pact earlier this year NATO has begun pushing back from several directions. The main thrust through Czechoslovakia has been met with little effective resistance and amphibious elements have gathered on Bornholm, ready to strike into Northern Poland. Fighting in the Caucasus region between Turkey and the USSR has only been sporadic but Turkish commanders fear committing more troops to the NATO advance in Bulgaria because of a brigade of VDV deployed to the Crimea. In an effort to free up Turkish troops AFSOUTH has formed joint taskforce 'NEPTUNE' consisting of British 41 Commando and American 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade to execute a daring raid on the VDV unit.

Recent Events:
One battalion of VDV is stationed in the Podagorsk area in the Southern Crimea. American forces will be attacking the main airfield while British units penetrate deeply into enemy territory, destroying communications and smaller bases. British forces are deploying from HMS Albion and HMS Bulwark by air and sea. A forward base will be setup by A-Company just north of HLS Equester while B-Company lands eastwards attacking a VDV base and C-Company attacks alongside the North-Eastern coast. Friendly Harriers will be operating in the area.

Due to a lack of landing craft the RHIBs will not be available post initial landing. Once objectives are complete move to HLS Equester from where troops will be evacuated via helicopter.

1. Secure the enemy VDV base and destroy all helicopters there to prevent Soviet airborne assault.
2. Seize the radiotower to hinder Soviet communications in the Black Sea region.

Secondary Objectives:
1. Clear the Soviet firebases to prevent yourselves from being flanked.
2. Clear the Soviet encampment to prevent a counter-attack.

I assume we are deploying from HMS Albion and Bulwark R07/R08 of the centaur class instead of L14/L15 of the Albion Class unless the British navy have access to time travelling capability.
