Conflict Overview: With the second world war in full swing, the Axis war machine seems to be spreading far across Europe. We are to move to the island of Panthera in the Adriatic sea between Italy and Slovenia, and capture strategically important locations to pave the way for a full Allied take over and installation of a new regime. The German Army has been working its magic on the Pantheran citizens, leading to many harbouring hatred for the German fear regime, meaning that they would likely support our take-over.
Operation Epsilon is the plan to cut off supply routes between the northern airport, and the rest of the island, leaving it weaker to attack. A success against the Germans here would be a good example for the rest of the allied forces, in showing that we CAN defeat the Axis war machine. Operation Epsilon may also benefit the allies in the way of having a staging area for the planning of the invasion of Italy.
Recent Events: Axis powers took over Panthera and formed a military led regime, which removed many luxuries of civilian life, and they have been implementing their views into the Pantheran people. Namely, by executing non-desireables, and people who disagree with the regieme.
Reinforcements are expected at 13:00 tommorow so you are expected to complete the mission and secure the Castle for insertion and eventual take over of Panthera. Due to Distance from the Fatherland German reinforcements are expected to be delayed heavily.
