Operation BA MAW

WW2 Dismounted

Force-Outline:
Era: WW2 - 02/03/1944
Faction: Australian Army.
Force type: Dismounted.
Vehicles: None.

Situation-Outline:
Operation Start: January 1945 - 07:00 (Local Time)
Current Weather: Clear and Hot.
Future Weather: Clear and Hot.
Map: Kokoda Trail (Burma).

Conflict Overview:
Years ago, the Japs took control of Burma, this is British soil and continued occupation of these lands cannot be allowed. Retaking Burma will allow us access to the Chinese, allow us to liberate other countries in the region, and get a shot in at the Japanese homeland.

Due to the dense forest and perilous landscape in the AO, we are unable to send you in with any motorized assistance, as such, Supplies will be dropped at a pre-designated location.

Mission Ridge is a fortified ridgeline that used to be a small Allied camp, due to its location, armored resistance is not expected, but smaller vehicles may be in the area to assist. Since the enemy have been there for years, expect fortifications in the area. Scouts have also reported that a mortar has been heard firing in this area, and a vehicle has been spotted heading to the mortar location before firing.

The villages house the majority of civilians in the area; as such we must secure these with little to no civilian casualties, ensuring that Allied forces can return to the area being shown as a force for good. The Citizens have been being oppressed by the invaders and numerous stories have been heard of terrible acts committed by the Japanese. We were being fed with information from numerous locations; however the activity has died down, especially in Boridi Village, where communication has ceased altogether.

Finally, Brigade Hill. This is a heavily fortified area that was once an allied FOB, this Objective was heavily fortified, but had low manpower at the time of the Invasion from the East, however now they have had time to set up, the Objective is likely even more heavily fortified and better manned. This is not a high priority target; only take this if you feel you have the manpower as you can dig in and wait for reinforcements in a few days. Spotters have not been able to get close to this area due to enemy patrols and a mortar in the area, therefore detailed information is sparse. Armoured resistance is possible, at grenades will be supplied with the airdrops.

Recent Events:

I'll have you know Fro that RT creates news with an edge for viewers who want to Question More. RT covers stories overlooked by the mainstream media, provides alternative perspectives on current affairs, and acquaints international audiences with the correct viewpoint on major global events.
