Conflict Overview:
The Biafra Contention - Link To Campaign Overview

Operation MAYNARD has commenced as planned. Operation TRYM and SEVERN have rid the Bay of N’Ziwasogo of pirate activity, allowing the oil wells on the outlying islands to produce and supply Britannia with the Black Gold. However, if she is to rule the seas once more, we will need more of this fuel of empire.

Recent Events:
With protection of ION personell, British engineers have recently modernised the Inland oil wells. However, as soon as the local warlord got wind of this, he has asked heavy ‘tolls’ from our oil convoys. Regarding the pitiable condition of these “roads” this is simple extortion, and Her Majesties government has decided to establish freedom of movement on Biafras roads, especially the one our oil rigs use.

The local warlord of the Kedougou Clique has protested this and the drivers of our oil rigs have been weary of reprisals by the warlords men at their ‘checkpoints’. As a show force, a British Army Platoon will take a convoy and show our transport company, how free the movement on N’Ziwasogos road is. If the warlord wishes to protest this, we are more than willing to engage his men. In argument of course.

Objectives:
You are to transport the crude oil trucks to Mbunza Port. You will find 3 trucks in Bissora Oil Field, where you are currently stationed. Another 3 trucks are waiting for pickup at Mbunza Oil Field.

This is a show of force: You are to attack and clear any positions that try to block the safe transfer of the oil. You may capture enemy key personal and transfer them (with your assigned helicopter) to FOB Maynard, information provided by them may prove usefull in coming operations against the "Kedougou Clique".

You are not to cross into the territory of the "Bakaho Clique", unless ordered otherwise. Fly overs by helicopters are tolerated, but it is recommended to keep a high altitude.
