Operation BRISTOL
By Hobbs

Era: WW2
Forcetype: Dismounted
Attachment: Bren carrier

Operation Start: 08:00
Current Weather: Rain
Future Weather: Rain
Map: Ruha

Conflict Overview:
The soviet army is probing the edges of Berlin, and we are deep in Germany’s countryside. Most of the Wehrmacht is defending Berlin’s ashes, leaving pockets of isolated resistance to defend the hills with what they have left, under stalwart commanders.

Recent Events:
Our platoon has been moving through the countryside, securing surrender from the village Bürgermeisters as we go, and neutralising pockets of resistance to make way for the occupation authority. Several other platoons are doing the same loosely alongside us, and all have faced booby traps, camouflaged emplacements and occasionally leftover tanks.

1: Secure the farm to our immediate east.
2: Meet the Bürgermeister of Ruha at the western entrance to the village and receive his formal surrender.
3: Secure the Ruha bridge through to the eastern territory.
4: Seize the supply depot to the south
It is imperative you neutralise any bunkers you find along the way, the occupation authority will not be able to operate otherwise.

Situation OPFOR:
Under equipped, under trained and under fed. However, they are likely manning fortifications set earlier in the war. Infantry will likely be equipped with K98’s and MP38/40’s, with the bunkers usually being equipped with MG42’s.

Situation Civilian:
Uncooperative but largely passive. Do not interfere with the civilians unless they impede our advance.

I'll have you know I trust the Daily Mail more, and that too low quality to use as loo roll
[TWC] Fro 22nd Mar
Did you copy and paste that from their site? this here folks is a prime example of brainwashing
[TWC] Mallas 22nd Mar
I'll have you know Fro that RT creates news with an edge for viewers who want to Question More. RT covers stories overlooked by the mainstream media, provides alternative perspectives on current affairs, and acquaints international audiences with the correct viewpoint on major global events.
[TWC] Hobbs 22nd Mar

[TWC] Fro 22nd Mar
Non government lead site.....hahahaha I suppose you have to say that otherwise you'd be disappeared
[TWC] Mallas 22nd Mar
Unlike you Fro, I get my news from verified and reliable, non-government lead sites like RT.
