Conflict Overview:
During the initial invasion into West Germany by Soviet forces the enemy managed to push up to the Kiel Canal. Fortunately they were stopped by the combined Danish/German LANDJUT. As part of the general counterattack throughout West Germany, one of the assaults will be to cut off the Soviet Corps that’s holding the south side of the canal, between the Baltic and North Sea. Because Allied German units are stretched thin right now, this operation will be mostly carried out by an Anglo-Dutch task force in the south and Danish units in the north.

Recent Events:
Following the successes of Operation LANCER, Allied forces have pushed up to the Elbe Lateral Canal. The Anglo-Dutch task force has set up various forward rendezvouses on the west bank of the Canal, ready to cross. RAF reconnaissance flights and scouting troops have not encountered any hostile units directly on the east bank, but they have identified multiple defensive positions further inland. Because of these, command has decided to use mobile bridges to cross the Wipperau river and outflank enemy forces.

After these position have been outflanked, command wishes to achieve large tactical depth by seizing locations along federal road B191. Key locations along the route are what the RAF believes to be a Soviet supply base, and an established bridge over the Wipperau. Furthermore, a BM-21 Grad battery has been covering retreating Soviet forces with copious amounts of rocket artillery. These should be eliminated to ensure our reinforcements can move in successfully to cut off Soviet forces.

1. Establish a crossing over the Wipperau.
2. Eliminate Soviet forces at Pieperhofen.
3. Seize the Soviet supply base.
4. Find and eliminate the Soviet Grad battery.
5. Secure a second crossing over the WIpperau.
