Future Weather: Snow.
Map: Winter Merderet River, included in TWC WW2. Conflict Overview:
With what's now being named the Second World War in full swing, the Axis war machine has spread far across Europe. In June we landed on the beaches of Normandy and successfully pushed the Nazis back to Belgium, bringing liberty back to those in desperate need.
In Belgium, around the area of Chef-Du-Pont we’ve been called to a halt. The Germans have dug in around the town. Recent Events:
For the last days were taking rocket artillery fire, we fell back to a small farm where we are preparing our assault on Chef-Du-Pont. Reconnaissance has spotted the artillery spotters, but they also came across minefields, which they have marked on the map.
We have to take out the spotters first, if we don't do that we may suffer the same casualties as in Neaville. When we capture the bridge we have to do it fast, as the Germans may have rigged the bridge; we can't lose the bridge. After the capture of the town push on down south and destroy the artillery emplacements. Objectives:
1) Capture the tower and kill the artillery spotters.
2) Capture the bridge across the Merderet.
3) Blow up the artillery.
4) Break through the enemy defences.Situation OPFOR:
