Conflict Overview:
During the initial invasion into West Germany by Soviet forces the enemy managed to push up to the Kiel Canal. Fortunately they were stopped by the combined Danish/German LANDJUT. As part of the general counterattack throughout West Germany, one of the assaults will be to cut off the Soviet Corps that’s holding the south side of the canal, between the Baltic and North Sea. Because Allied German units are stretched thin right now, this operation will be mostly carried out by an Anglo-Dutch task force in the south and Danish units in the north.

Recent Events:
The first British units have just seized Soviet defense positions covering federal road B191 as part of Operation PALADIN. Our unit is being sent southward of  B191, via federal road B493,  to cover their flank and assist if necessary. The overall goal of both operations is to achieve large tactical depth to outflank multiple Soviet units.

A Grad battery has been operating in the area, hitting our units moving up, and is currently being hunted down by friendly units. RAF reconnaissance flights have not spotted any Soviet units on the direct east of the canal bank.

1. Break through Soviet defenses.
2. Seize Tatern.
3. Secure Ratzlingen.

Because it is boring and unrealistic. No one has used LR in years. Foxhound would be the logical choice.
