Current Weather: Clear, frigid.
Future Weather: Clear, frigid.
Map: Sark, included in TWC WW2.Conflict Overview:
After the fall of France in June 1940, the Channel Islands were occupied by Germany as well. Lucky for us, this has been the only British home territory taken by the enemy. The loss of these little islands, however, has dented morale of the public. RAF reconnaissance flights indicate regular movements of a small German garrison on the Channel Islands, and as such may prove a good target for liberation in the near future to bolster morale. In order for this invasion not to turn the island into a devastated warzone we must prepare the area quietly; an excellent job for the Commandos.Recent Events:
In a preparatory reconnaissance flight two days ago for our raid on Sark, a plane was taken down by German AA. The pilot was seen bailing out by his wingman. Usually this would be an unfortunate loss for the RAF, but the aviator in question was the son of an important Air Commodore. As such, the recovery of this pilot has become prime objective of our raid. Of course, taking out the AA would be a great boon to soften up the islands for invasion as well. The commander on the ground should assault targets at his own initiative, to soften up the enemies as much as possible.
An SOE agent infiltrated the island over a year ago, and has been engaging in acts of reconnaissance and sabotage. He is likely to have more information about targets on the island. Objectives:
