Conflict Overview:After the Emita uprising, Chernarus has been plunged into civil war between the Chernarussian Government and the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ČDKZ) and it's self declared Soviet Republic of Chernarus (SRČ). NATO decided to support the Republic of Chernarus. Plans for a bombing campaign were quickly discarded after the SRČ air defense proved surprisingly tough and Novigrad government protested bombing of what it still considered its own country. At the same time, a massive invasion of ground forces was objected by Russia, being wary of having NATO to close top its borders. The compromise reached was that a limited contingent of NATO ground troops would intervene ‘surgically’ to aid Chernarussian forces.
https://docs.google.com/d ... wgI/edit?usp=sharingRecent Events:The Chernarussians want to reestablish supply lines to the eastern part of the country which they still hold. They have thus decided to launch a mechanised offensive along the coastline to recapture large parts of the Primore Region. The NATO Task Force has decided to aid them.
Near Cape Nogova the SRČ forces are holding a strategically important bridge and have been building up defences against the impending Chernarussian assault. We have received intelligence, that would suggest that a platoon of engineers is being deployed here to destroy this bridge. and thus significantly slow down the Chernarussian advance. Thus, the NATO Task Force is preparing to deploy a British airmobile platoon to preempt this and open up the way for the Chernarussian advance.
Objectives:HIGHEST PRIORITY: Prevent the enemy engineers from reaching the Bridge
This bridge is vital for the Chernarussian advance and the enemy must not be allowed to destroy it.
HIGH PRIORITY: Eliminate the Anti-Tank Positions
The ČDKZ Forces have set up Anti-Tank Positions in the Hills East of the Bridge, which could deal heavy casualties to the advancing Chernarussians.
HIGH PRIORITY: Secure the Bridge
The bridge is currently held by mechanised forces which could slow down the CHernarussians and allow the ČDKZ to bring in further reinforcements.
LOW PRIORITY: Clear Lany
Lany lies directly on the route the Chernarussian advance will need to take. Clearing it would further speed up their offensive.
LOWEST PRIORITY: Clear Lipany
Lipany could serve as a staging area for the ČDKZ counterattacks once the Chernarussians have taken the bridge.
