Conflict Overview:
The NATO bombing of Yugoslavia is the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation's (NATO) military operation against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The air strikes started on March 24. The bombings will continue until an agreement is reached that will lead to the withdrawal of Yugoslav armed forces from Kosovo, and the establishment of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo, a UN peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. The official NATO operation code name is "Operation Allied Force" whereas the United States calls it "Operation Noble Anvil“. NATO's intervention was prompted by Yugoslavia's bloodshed and ethnic cleansing of Albanians, which drove the Albanians into neighbouring countries and had the potential to destabilize the region. Yugoslavia's actions had already provoked condemnation by international organisations and agencies such as the UN, NATO, and various INGOs. NATO countries attempted to gain authorisation from the UN Security Council for military action, but were opposed by China and Russia, who indicated that they would veto such a measure. As a result, NATO launched its campaign without the UN's approval, stating that it was a humanitarian intervention. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force except in the case of a decision by the Security Council under Chapter VII, or self-defence against an armed attack – neither of which were present in this case.

Recent Events:
Earlier today, a US Air Force F-117 "Nighthawk" was shot down by Serbian Air Defense. The pilot managed to safely eject and is currently hiding in the region. His transmitter was destroyed in the landing so we can't get a fix on his actual location, but we know where the plane crashed. TWC Platoon, which is the closest UN force in the area has been tasked to head out and locate the pilot. While searching for him, TWC Platoon has also been ordered to destroy any SAM Sites they come across.

Command suggests that the platoon avoids going off-road as much as possible due to minefields. Several have been located but there are still a lot of unaccounted minefields and mines in the area.

Objectives:
1. Locate the downed pilot.
2. Destroy all SAM sites.

Situation OPFOR:
Weapons: AK47, RPK74, PKM, RPG7, SVD Dragunov.
Uniform: White/green camo has been seen on irregular units, while regular army units wear green camo.
Vehicles: UAZ, Ural truck, BTR-60, BMP-1, T-55, ZSU-23-4 "Shilka". 

Situation Civilians:
Population: Present in surrounding villages.
Allegiance: Some to UN, others to Serb forces.
