Conflict Overview:
Operation Enduring Freedom is in full swing. The US led coalition of NATO nations are trying to establish peace and drive the Taliban out of Afghanistan.

Recent Events:
We have been stationed at the military base in Feruz-abad, we are to be relieved by American and British platoons en route to our position. We have been patrolling the area on foot and trying to establish peace and safety for the civilians. There was a British casualty due to a suicide bomber attack and there is an increase of IED and tripwire attacks on NATO troops. Early in the morning, the US platoon was ambushed near Sakhe and there is great concern that this will also happen to the British platoon arriving shortly after. 

Objectives:
We are to investigate the ambush and secure the Sakhe route for our relief force to arrive.

- Investigate the ambushed convoy near Sakhe
- Secure the Sakhe route to prevent further ambushes

Intelligence:
Recent reports from the region suggest Taliban fighters have been known to place tripwires in buildings.
