Conflict Overview:
After the 2021 coup by Assimi Goita, the increasing numbers of Islamic insurgents in the region has compelled the UK to deploy troops. TWC Platoon of the Light Dragoons, has been assigned to combat this uprising before it gains traction and the situation becomes unmanageable for local forces.

OPFOR: Islamic Fundamentalists
Uniform : Civilian clothing, potentially camouflage and various webbing/vests.
Weapons: Various Cold War era weapons, sporadically looted French weapons.
Vehicles: Various pickup technicals, some armoured. Potentially WW2 tanks.
Training / Tactics: Minimal, reliance on large numbers. Sporadic Roadside IEDs and suicide bombers.

BLUFOR:  French UN Peacekeepers
Camouflage and (UN) blue berets

CIVILIANS: High Population, Mixed allegiance.

Recent Events:
TWC Platoon have been assisting the French Peacekeepers police the area but the situation in the region has seen a rapid escalation in the last week.

Last night, a major French FOB in the area was captured by insurgent forces which has been classed as a major security breach. Command has now taken the decision to take a more aggressive approach the the insurgents and attempt to drive them from the area. TWC platoon, as the best equipped force in the region is tasked with assaulting the strongest known insurgent positions.

Intent:
Weakening the Insurgents in Kujari Region by eliminating key targets.

Objectives:
SECURE French Hostages
A civilian informant has provided intel that two prisoners from the engagement at the French FOB are being held in a small town.

DESTROY Insurgent Weapon Cache
Destroying the weapons cache will disrupt the insurgents supply lines

SECURE French FOB
The supplies in this FOB that has recently been captured by insurgents can not be allowed to fall into enemy hands.

CAPTURE or KILL Insurgent Commander at His Home
Intel has identified the likely location of a key insurgent commander. This is likely to be lightly defended, capture him if possible but he should should be eliminated as a priority

CLEAR insurgent stronghold
This is a major stronghold town, clearing it will vastly decrease the fighting capability of insurgent forces in Kujari.
