Conflict Overview:
On 2 April Argentina invaded and occupied the Falkland Islands. On 5 April, the British government dispatched a naval task force to engage the Argentine Navy and Air Force before making an amphibious assault on the islands.

OPFOR:

Recent Events:
British intelligence has intercepted a communique that a squadron of French fighter jets have been delivered to the Argentine Airforce and are currently undergoing trails prior to deployment on an isolated airbase high in the Andes Mountains. If these new fighters are allowed to engage the British task force it could have devastating consequences and ultimately change the outcome of the war.

Intent:
Destroy the fighter aircraft and any other assets of value at the air base.

Objectives:

• Destroy the power transformer to slow down communication and provide a distraction for the assault
• Destroy any threat that could jeapordise the mission at the MEDEVAC Centre
• Destroy the fighter aircraft and any other assests at the air base
• Exfil via the SE route before reinforcements arrive
