Conflict Overview: 31 Years into the cold war and there has been very little physical conflict, until now. British Intelligence has been led to believe that the Soviet Union is planning an invasion and is building an invasion force in one of the baltic states.

Recent Events: Following on from Operation Backhand. TWC Platoon successfully cut off the peninsula and crippled the Soviet amphibious form-up in the north. Intelligence suggests that Soviet forces intend on consolidating their remaining forces at the airfield on the southern tip of the peninsula.
Canberra reconnaissance flights have spotted two Soviet frigates refuelling and rearming at docks around the airfield, and a work-up of various ground attack aircraft formations by the airfield’s fuel depot.
TWC Platoon will perform an amphibious assault against the airfield, initially destroying the only bridge connecting the airfield to the peninsula to cut off any quick reaction reinforcements, then moving to secure key objectives around the airfield and destroy the Soviet frigates.
Intent: To prevent any Soviet Airlift operations within the region.
Objectives: Primary: DESTROY the Bridge (Must be done first) CLEAR the Northern Dock and area around it CLEAR the Southern Dock and area around it CLEAR the Fuel Depot and nearby Hangars Secondary: DESTROY Frigates at each dock by blowing up nearby fuel tanks DESTROY the Air Defence Artillery Radar
