Conflict Overview:

During the Second World War, Allied forces invaded the Kindom Of Iran to secure the Oil and provide a supply route for Lend Lease equipment. As per the terms agreed at the Potsdam Conference the Big Free all agreed to withdraw from Iran after the Surrender of Germany.

Recent Events:

US and UK forces started to withdraw their forces within the treaty-sitpulated period. However the Soviets not only violated the May 27 withdrawal deadline, they started to expand southwards. The Newly formed United Nations Security Council passed a resolution demanding Soviet withdrawal by the end of June. Although the Soviets agreed to the resolution, there has been no sign of withdrawal as of July. In fact, reconnaissance flights show that Soviet are building new fortification, planting minefield reinforcing key areas.

CIVILIANS: Unknown. Believe relocated by Soviets

Intent:
A united force of US and UK personnel are preparing to move into Soviet occupied Iran. The TWC Platoon will cross into the occupied territory in the early hours of the 25th to support the American push by destroying key logistics, the Soviets CAS ability and capturing key objectives.

Objectives:
1. Clear Border Check point
Cross into the Occupied zone clearing the border check point to allow main UK force to follow later

2. Seize Airfield until Aircraft can be Destroyed.
Take control of the airfield and destory the aircraft to limit Soviet's air support.

3. Secure Maku and Makus Oilfield
Make sure the Oilfield and main facility in Maku are intact.

4. Clear Zaranji and Destroy Supply dump located there
Taking out the supply dump will limit the Soviet's ability to counter the American advance.

Once objectives 1-4 completed

Seize Hill Fortification
The Hill Fortification is a heavily defended centre of Operation for Soviet forces in the area.

Defend until main force arrives
Hold the hill until the main British force catches up.
